: How do you display the Speed?

Hello Everybody,

I just recently graduated from a 2010 Challenger rallye Brilliant Black to a 2011 Challenger R/T Brilliant Black. They look exactly the same except for the r/t stripes, Hemi badging & 20" chrome clad rims. I loved my 2010 Challenger & would get numerous looks & compliments at least twice a week. But after every compliment they would follow up with "Does it have the Hemi?" It would kill me every time. So I bit the bullet & upgraded. I'm noticing all the differences, of course with the engine/power but also electronically. Mine had the owners manual missing. So they are mailing me a new one. But the time being, can somebody help me with getting the Speed to display? I love the white cluster, but it's easy to lose track on how fast you are going. Is it even possible to get the speed displayed? Thanks for the help.

Hold the up arrow for 10 secs then hold the down arrow until it changes to the extra menu. Scroll through until you find the speedo.

Thank you for the very quick response. I was able to find it, but I couldn't keep it set on that. It kept going back to the temp & directions every time I shut off the vehicle. How can I keep the speedometer display on permanently? Once again, I appreciate you helping out a newb.

I'm not sure on the '11s, but on my '12 you just hit the menu button (to the left of the down arrow) until the EVIC says "Vehicle Info", then you hit the up arrow once and it displays the speed. It will stay on this display even after you shut the car off and restart it until you change it with the menu button to something else. This is also where you get to the 0-60 timer if you hit the up arrow one more time.

Yep my '11 SRT has the same but it's called "PERFORMANCE" menu on mine.

OK...I'm baffled...I have a 2011 RT Classic, and I've held the "UP" arrow for 10 then the "DOWN arrow and nothing changes....!
What am I doing wrong or maybe I don't have that function...?

I have found count a little over 10 seconds on up then hold the down till it changes to mph.
BTW it resets every time the car is shut down.

I love that it has this feature. I use it all the time. Glad you got it to work.
