Just curious if anyone else has done this regarding tires when replacing the stock 245/45-20 fronts? Reason for asking is two fold.... One reason is that it will make them rotatable and secondly the replacements I'm looking at(Michelin Pilot Sports) are almost 1/2 the price between the 255's and 245's(255's are cheaper believe it or not!).

Please inform on if you have done this and were happy or not with the change. Did it take away from/add to handling and/or looks in your opinion?

Thanks much,
-John

I did this with the Hankook V12s, 255/45/20 at all 4 corners. No issues.

My stock 245s fronts were worn so I moved the stock 255s to the front and added 275s to the rears. The car rides so much better IMO with the 255s up front. Once they wear, I'm going to 275s up front so that I can rotate all four evenly.

I run Kumho ecsta 255 45 20's on all 4 corners. Good all around performance wet or dry. I ran the Hankook they did not come close to the mileage warranty, I got a 50% tire recredit after complaining. This is my second set with Kumho and great tire i would recommend to anyone. The guys running the 275's in the front I was told that would rub in the front on severe cornering.

No rubbing here with 275s up front.
