I have been reading on here about headers for the last few days. I have not seen much on the DynaTech headers. I have a friend who is a dealer for DynaTech so I could get a decent price on a set of their long tubes with cat'd mid pipes. How do they compare to the Kooks and ARH? Do they hang much lower than stock or the other brands? Will there be much of an improvement using stock exhaust with reso-delete from BB? Thanks for the help!

I have ARH and the fit is excellant. I did the cat back system first with a great improvement in the seat of the pants acceleration. I must say that after adding headers there was no noticable improvement. Once I had it dyno tuned there may have been some benefit from the LTs, for their cost on an SRT I would say there are other bolt on's that would be better for the money. It is hard to beat the factory SRT headers.

Link may help answer your question: kooks versus ARH versus Dynatech - Bing (http://www.bing.com/search?q=kooks+versus+ARH+versus+Dynatech&src=IE-SearchBox)

I think they all are about the same.

Thanks for the input! I might go with the blastin bobs resonator delete kit and a set of high flow cats then. From reading this forum the general thought is that the cats are the largest restriction in the factory exhaust.

If you get hi flow cats get ready for CELs. The computers on these cars is very sensative.

I should be able to turn off the aft O2 sensors with my predator though right?

No. That capability was eliminated by Diablo because of EPA rules.

Im from Colorado Springs area and several shops have told me that removing the cats prior to 8 years/85K miles is against federal law, also that putting long tube headers on a non off road/track only car is the same.....Any one able to chime in on this?

Every state and even every county does things different. They will not install them because they would get in trouble with the FEDs if the $hit hit the fan
