: Just Ordered a New DiabloSport InTune

Well, I have been kicking the idea of getting a DiabloSport around for some time now, and decided to pull the trigger on the new InTune.

As you can see, I haven't done much modding, as this was my daily driver, but figured I would try this out. I had also read some posts/threads that there wasn't much to be gained from a Predator with a 6-speed.

I should receive it within a couple of days (ordered from nearby Maryland Speed). I plan on going with a 93 CAI tune (assume the InTune is similar to what I read about the Predator).

Will let you know what I think once I have the tune in!

So I just realized that my InTune was sent to my old address by mistake. And since it was sent UPS, they just leave packages at the doorstep and walk away...no signature required (great job UPS), and consider it delivered.

I just now caught it. I had ordered before from MarylandSpeed, so I didn't double check the address, but this time I paid with PayPal, not realizing I hadn't updated my PayPal addresses, so it shipped to the old one! ARGGH!!!

Now, I live in the same apt complex, just a different apartment, and I already checked with the apartment office, and it hasn't been turned in there (nor was it left there). It shows as delivered though.

I also confirmed with UPS that it has NOT been returned to sender. So, all I can think of now is the resident of my old apartment has my $400 package!!!! I already tried knocking and guess they weren't home, so I left a note on the door with my number.

But now, not only do I not have my InTune, I may just be out $400!!!! If the person that erroneously received it would just call me or return to sender, then I am ok, but I am at their mercy. But let me say this, I will NOT drop this. I hope they do the right thing.:icon_flaming:

Good Luck!! I hope it works out for you. You might want to hold off installing it when you get it. If you read the fourm on the Diablosport web site, you will see they are dealing with a "Bug" with the Intune software and our Mopar's. A "fix" is in the works according to the Tec. Dept. I was told to hold off a couple of days before trying to install any tunes untill an update to the software is issued. I have mine sitting on my front seat, waiting to go........

Ok, good news is I found my package. That's it for the good news. This sucks. Updated my InTune online as soon as I got it. Have now spent the last hour sitting in my car while it keeps telling me "no ecu found". Once or twice it found my ecu, but as soon as I selected a tune, it fails to do the backup, and shuts off!!!

$400 for this? NOT happy.

If I'm not mistaken, someone said they had this problem and thought the cars ECU was locked. Lots of rumors and speculation ensued. Perhaps it could be a flaw with the most recent update?

Well, I have a 2010 and my ecm better not be locked! Just got off the phone w/ DiabloSport and all they said was I need to wait for an update. :(

Meh. Nothing like being excited to get something new for your car only to find out after you get it, damnded thing doesn't work because they haven't worked out all the bugs.

Look for my InTune on Ebay here in the next few days if this isn't fixed quick. I could've used this money to get a lot of other things for the car.

What is the return policy? Is it possible to send it back and get your money back or store credit?

Ok, I FINALLY managed to get it to load the CAI tune, which as I understand it, is the 93 CAI tune (otherwise it just lists a 91 CAI tune, 91 Tune and DiabloSport Tune).

It took a few tries, but finally appeared to load. I didn't adjust the Throttle Boost, but may go back and try that after the update. It was still pretty "finnicky", and there for a while, I was in a position where it said my performance tune didn't load, but it couldn't restore my backup, and my car was sitting there making all sorts of funny noises (like the starter kept engaging or something electrical...was pretty weird), not confidence inspiring.

But I kept trying, and the tune seems to have loaded properly. I took the car out on the highway, and seems to run better, seems a little more responsive, though honestly, it was hard to tell a difference. Pedal seemed a little more responsive, and she felt like she had a little more torque, nothing amazing, but she runs good. Exhaust sounds a little deeper (yes, yes, I know, placebo effect, but what the hell, for $400, grant me this delusion!).

I'll have to keep playing with it, and give it some more time, but was expecting a little bit more after hearing so many talk about how it "woke up" their Challengers....

Our 6-speed cars typically don't benefit as much from a Predator tune compared to the autos.
