Nice! Looks like a good gains from what a stock 392 normally does.

Forged drop ins were great. Just gap the rings and install. The balance was spot on. The valve reliefs allowed us to do what we wanted with the cam install. Mahle did a great job as usual.

FYI the engine shown is a 6.1 but we wanted to show off the new tools Comp is offering for the Hemi guys. The crank hub drives off the oil drive hube, sweet deal. Nice job Comp Cams.

Put about 150 miles on it yesterday and no issues, no codes.

Fun to hammer up through the gears at 6500.

Probably better get some axles from Bill.

excuse my ignorance, but what happened to all the tq down low that we are so used to seeing from the 392?

looks like the tq peaks and starts leveling out at 4700rpms ??

sick numbers, but the graph appears to be out to the right as opposed to making tons of tq before 3500rpms.

No surprise given the mods. A bigger cam and bigger ports should give you more peak horsepower while reducing low end torque.

The cam and head package did have an effect on those lower numbers but the one key ingredient is the 6.1 ported intake vs the split runner 392 plastic intake. We will be working on using that intake in the future.

Seems easy enough to rig up an rpm switch to use the active manifold. You could use the dyno to find the rpm where it makes the best torque and power

Assuming that they spliced the car to make the car work with an older PCM to allow tuning, I don't know if they could use that computer to make it work. I think that using a standalone you could create a map to allow for the manifold to open at a desired rpm for better flow. That would be really cool.
