i just noticed some bright yellow leak marks from under the transmission area on the garage floor....its the color of early morning pee.....very bright yellow

i have an automatic and i dont see a dipstick to check it...i think i remember hearing complaints that it doesnt have one.

ive looked under the car w/ a flashlight and cant see anything wet, but then again its so low to the ground i cant see much...

is the auto-tranny fluid bright yellow?

looks like ill be making an appointment with Dodge this week

Tranny fluid is red... anti freeze is yellowish green usually... but not in these cars... Don't have a clue buddy... Sounds like a trip to the dealership is in order. You definitely have a dipstick under the hood to check the tranny fluid... Not sure but its probably close to the firewall...

If you had it to the car wash lately it may be soap solution, I know around here they use pink, blue, and green in the car wash. It also could be window wash fluid like what happened with my mother in-law.

I don't think it is anything from your car, definitely not tranny fluid. Did your dog go to the bathroom in the garage?

I went out to check where my trans dipstick is and I couldn't find one either... Where it should be there is a tube coming up and has a plug in it saying for dealer use only... That is freaky!!!:freak5: WTF???

Could be...I was thinking blinker fluid since it's an amber color.

They don't have dipsticks. There are threads on this forum all about that.

Think a cat is your culprit. We had one in my neighborhood would pee under my workbench. All it took was a friendly conversation with my neighbor for him to keep his cat in the house and out of my garage.

huggy,

To be sure about just "what" may be leaking, we will need you to taste it first and report back.

Could be the condensate drain for the AC system was plugged up with stanky water and it finally broke loose?

i have a sheet of plastic under the car....so thats why it shows up so well...it doesnt soak into the concrete

there's 5 splotches all in the same general area....the yellow stains are dry and not oily

i keep foam around the car and have also noticed where a mouse was eating away the foam...im wondering if i had a mouse living under my car and peeing

is it possible its mouse pee?

the yellow blotches are about 1 1/2" spots

id call the yellow color Detonator Yellow in color...very bright

mice are common in my garage

i drove my car a lot today and each location i drove to i checked to see if there was a leak mark....no leaks today....

Since it's not oily and nothing blowing around underneath, it sounds like exhaust
condensation leaking at a seam and dripping off a ledge or something when you
part it. I'd put it on a lift and tighten all the seam brackets before doing the dealer
thing. But then again, I don't like my dealer messing with my SRT.

Just a thought where you running your a/c and it puddle under your car? Sometimes the ac box clogs up and drains slower just a thought.

A/C dye is a very bright yellow.........I havent been with Dodge for almost 2 years so I dont know if they started to put A/C dye in as standard in the new stuff. If your A/C quits working then you know what it is.

why would you think it was trans fluid if it is dried and not oily??? trans fluid doesnt dry and is oily.

exhaust condensation or pee.

i thought of tranny fluid because its RIGHT UNDER THE TRANNY

havent used the air conditioning this year....havent even turned on the climate control...i just have the windows rolled down

ill check my blinker fluid reservoir tomorrow

would there be air conditioning lines running through the tranny area of the car?

i decided to taste the yellow spots....it could be mouse urine (just kidding)

No ac lines but the ac does drain down the right side of the trans.
