Does anybody else experience this? It stops every time I go to the dealer. I think they think I'm bugging but everyday it crackles and pops

Does anybody experience speaker pop and crackle? I always go to dealer and it never does it there. Go figure. I need to know if anybody else is experiencing this. Thanks in advance.

My front left does, it almost seems like it comes from behind the door panel

If it sounds like an electronic pop/crackle - I'd suspect the amplifier (possible bad component or solder joint), or possible in the head unit itself.

Does the noise increase/decrease with volume setting (if so, then in the preamp/head unit).

If it remains consistent, then I'd suspect further down in the chain in the amp's circuits.

Only happens to me when I leave the media set on Aux when nothing is playing.

i take it to dealer and it stops everytime. they think im just crazy but i know what i hear. lol

I can't hear my nav voice. Also, I did have the crackle pop when i first got it but only with my ipod. It is gone now, though.

I had a speaker that would distort only during specific parts of certain songs. Downloaded the song to my I Phone took it to the dealer and played the song. They replaced the speaker under warranty and it has been perfect ever since.
