I just bought a 2010 challenger RT classic with a six speed manual transmission, Mileage is 6500, I seem to be having a problem with a sticking brake, prior to picking up vehicle the dealer had to replace the emergency brake cable because the E brake was not working, I've noticed a few times that from a start I've stalled and I think it,s a brake sticking, last night I was on a slight incline and with the E brake off and the shift in neutral the car rolled smoothly when the brake was releast, I also tried putting the car in 1st/holding the cluch down and the brake down, when I releast the brake the car took a couple of seconds to start rolling back, is this normal? I don't think so, Any info would be appreciated.

Yours sounds like Hill Start Assist may be on?

It doesn't take much of an incline for that to engage (turned mine off).

If you have EVIC, you can select on/off through the menus.

Without EVIC there's another procedure that involves pushing the trip odo reset a number of times (never used that method since I have EVIC).

HSA releases after a couple of seconds and it feels like the brakes are sticking - strange feeling when you don't really need it...
