I just pulled out fuse# 2 for a reset and yes it really does work. I have been driving a bit slow lately and just really crusing around locally. I felt as I jumped on it a few times it felt very slugish and not as responsive as before. Well I figured I do the fuse #2 trick not realy thinking it would work but wow thortle response was much better and I cant wait untill the weather gets cooler to really feel the performance from the Penstar as I am only at 3,000 miles. I still wish I could have purchased a SRT8 model but just couldnt fit one in my budget for now. Looking forward to do some perfromance mods if any of you have some recomendations I would greatly appreciate it.

LONG LIVE THE CHALLENGER!!!!

No trying to be rude but use the search function bro. I'm sure you will get plenty of hits for performance mods. Good luck!

No your not rude but there really isnt anything that adds any real improvement of power for the Penstar. I am hoping something comes out soon that adds some HP!

There is another thread called "Pulling Fuse #2" on this topic that may be good to take a look at. I just posted a good explanation of the adaptive fuel feature over on that thread which I found on another forum - I didn't know anything about it, so it provides good insight.

Yep...it works nicely!....especially after you've just been poking around and cruising easy for a while.
As far as performance mods, of course we're all still waiting for an affordable, mass-produced tuner but if I had to start over on mine, I'd got with the MOPAR CAI (CARB approved, that's important here) and the 80mm ported throttle body.
Seems to be the easiest, 'hot setup' for now, for improving throttle response.

so pulling number 2 is something we should all do? At what miledge should we do this?

I usually do it at oil changes, just because I have the hood up already and am cleaning everything. Personal preferance, really.

I reset mine monthly while doing PM but that's just me.

Well, you should certainly do it after you're through the engine break-in period because you should be driving it with kid gloves for that. After that though it should only need to be pulled if you feel the engine is lagging or the throttle response begins to get sluggish. It adapts to your driving style, so you shouldn't have to pull it a lot if you're the only one driving the car.

I'm at 850 miles. I have been driving it slowly. Trying to keep it in fule saver as much as possible to get an idea of max mpg. In fact the engine has felt sluggish and I have been noticing poor throttle responce.

I will pull the fuse today.

Thanks for the info guys.
