I have a queston about the Mopar strut tower. What are the two screw holes and the long screws for? I haven't purchased one yet but was looking thru pics and noticed the holes..

Thx

Maybe your talking about the two holes in the middle that attach to the firewall?

Yes, you drill them out and put the fender washer between the back of the brace and the front of the rail behind it. Iirc there are also two fender washer that go in the very back before the lock nut.

Not directly to the firewall but to a brace in front of it.

Yep, put the Mopar brace on my R/TC. Easy install, including the drilling. Just bought a longer drill bit that was the correct size, and used a cordless drill.

These look great, but more importantly..............they work. Stiffened up the front end without changing any ride quality.

Made me a believer in bracing, and a few weeks later I installed a Petty 4 point rear brace.

Between the two, the car feels even stiffer body wise, the ride quality is unchanged, but the cornering and control is noticeably better than stock. Improved steering response too.

Best two mods that I've done to my car.

And will need a good strong bit, its easy to dull a cheap one.
