I was romping down the freeway with ESP=Off (completely off, 10-second hold on an STP/RT). Came into a hilly neighborhood and sat first in line at a red light. I'm so accustomed to the hill-start assist that I wasn't prepared to drift back and did a foot or two. No biggie, just made a quick shift and off I went.

The EVIC started at 19.6 at the beginning of the trip, once I got back home it was at 24.9. This leads me to ask, is the EVIC calculating mileage based on the assumption that the MDS system is engaging, or did my car really do that well on fuel?
