Mopar Supercenter is helping to sponsor the SRT Nationals 2006

In appreciation to our customers, we have decided to give back to so many who have made us who we are. We are adding to the first 200 paid registrations, a FREE $20.00 guest pass to the events. If you are thinking about attending, don't hesitate, here’s your chance to register and bring a friend or spouse for less.

We are also holding a customer appreciation meet & greet event on Wed. evening at the host hotel. This event is where you will have the chance to meet so many of the people who are making this event possible. Others that that will be at the event, Ralph Gilles, Mopar Performance, SRT Engineering & Marketing, Kicker Audio, and many more!

We will not be onsite to sell any products, we will be there in support of our customers. We feel that we take enough of your hard earned funds as it is, so rather than setting up a vendor booth, we just want to meet you. We want everyone to have a great time, and we are doing our part to assist this awesome event. We hope you decide to attend as well, for it will be the event of the year!

Welcome to the 2006 SRT Nationals!
The event will be held July 19, 20, 21, and 22 at Heartland Park Raceway (HPT) in Topeka, Kansas. Heartland Park has recently updated all of their facilities, the roadcourse and dragstrip have new asphalt, and a brand new autox pad has been built in preparation for the SCCA Solo2 Nationals. Ralph Gilles, designer of the Charger, 300C, Magnum, and tail section of the Viper Comp Coupe will be with us the entire event. An accomplished driver, Ralph has offered to be a driving instructor for our roadcourse event. Ralph will start the event with a keynote address at the Wednesday evening Meet-n-Greet, and close the event at the Saturday Awards Banquet. Outside of those official duties, we've got him as an automotive enthusiast for the rest of the event.
We're also proud to announce that the SRT Engineering team, the SRT Marketing team, and Mopar Performance will be at the event, not as out of reach corporate types, but in the cars with us. Attend the group seminars or talk to the expert’s one on one
Pro Racing teams will be at the event, but instead of the show cars they bring to their usual appearances, they'll have the real racecars that they are currently campaigning in their Nationals points events. Not only will they be shaking the cars down in their testing sessions on the track, they will also be giving rides on the roadcourse.
The full SRT Line-up, and the Turbo Dodges of SDAC are the featured vehicles of the SRT Nationals in 2006. Of course, all of the Mopar families are invited to join us.

SRT Nationals Schedule:
Wednesday, July 19

Vendor access to the track facility for setup of display areas. Volunteer parking team will be on-hand to help with the organization and to lay out markers for the participant parking on Thursday. Participants will receive a facility map in their Registration Bags that will help them find the group they should park with. Parking is not rigidly assigned, we are providing this as a service to the participants. All participants will receive an email in July that they may respond to with their regional/club parking affiliations to assist in the planning.
Early arrivals may want to visit the track on Wednesday to help with the setup or spectate the Pro Dodge racing teams testing their vehicles on the roadcourse circuit.
5:00 p.m. - Registration check-in begins at the host hotel (location to be announced). This is where you will receive your event credentials and Registration packets. The Registration packets will contain the credentials, map to the event site, detailed map of the event facility, your suggested event parking area, the final event schedule, and any items donated to the event by vendors and sponsors. This is not your only opportunity to pick up your registration materials. Registration will be available at the event site on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 8:30 am until noon. If your schedule makes it difficult to pick up your Registration material during those times, please contact us to make other arrangements.
5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Technical Inspection for the Thursday Road Course Event in the Host Hotel parking lot. Participants do not need to check in with Registration prior to Inspection. There will be a second opportunity for inspection on Thursday morning at the track.
7:00 p.m. - Meet-n-Greet party at Host Hotel - Mr. Ralph Gilles will open the event with a short address followed by hors d' oeuvres and a cash bar. Thursday, July 20

7:00 a.m. - HPT gate opens for vendors, displays, and road course participants. The road course drivers meeting and late technical inspection will occur promptly, and the first vehicles will be on the track before 8:30 a.m. Information on which gate will be used for access to the track will be posted here prior to the event start.
Road Course participants must read the entire "Road Course" information page. That is where the day's schedule will be found, including the procedure for late check-in/inspection prior to being allowed on the track. This schedule is critical to a successful day and will be adhered to by the organizers. If you cannot meet the schedule requirements, please let us know in advance so that arrangements can be made.
8:00 a.m. - HPT gate opens for show participants and spectators. Show participants will be able to choose a morning or afternoon judging block on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday (Saturday morning only). The choice of judging block will take place when you receive an email requesting your preference. Information on which gate will be used for access to the track will be posted here prior to the event start.
Several Pro Racing teams will be available to provide rides in their World Challenge and T1/T2 Viper and SRT-4 racing vehicles. Signups for these rides will occur at the Meet-n-Greet on Wednesday evening and at the event site on Thursday. Participants will be on the track at full speed with other instructors driving their cars at the same time.
Kicker Car Stereo will begin their informal audio competition at their display area.
5:00 p.m. - HPT gate closes.

Friday, July 21

8:00 a.m. - HPT gate opens for vendors, displays, drag race, and show participants. Planned drag racing activities include Test-N-Tune and qualifying for the evening Quick-8 races. Information on which gate will be used for access to the track will be posted here prior to the event start.
Seminars and Presentations will be provided throughout the day. The SRT Engineering team will speak to groups about vehicle dynamics (suspension) and powertrain (engine) in separate sessions. Pro Racing teams will also provide seminars, and demonstrations. The schedule for these activities will be included in the Registration Packets.
The mobile Dyno will be available for personal satisfaction and the Dyno Competition. Remember to include your results in the annual SRT Triathlon Competition.
Kicker Car Stereo will continue their informal audio competition at their display area.
5:00 p.m. - HPT gate remains open after 5:00 p.m. for nighttime grudge match racing, Quick 8 in several categories and exhibition passes. Presented as an exhibition of the fastest vehicles the event has to offer. Please visit the "Drag Racing" information page for details on this portion of the event.

Saturday, July 22

8:00 a.m. - HPT gate opens for vendors, displays, autocross, show, and drag race participants.
Drag racing activities include Bracket Racing and the Burnout contest..
Autocross sign-in begins. Please visit the "Autocross" information page for details on this portion of the event. Information on which gate will be used for access to the track will be posted here prior to the event start.
Kicker Car Stereo will continue their informal audio competition at their display area.
10:00 a.m. - Autocross competition begins
1:00 p.m. - Show judging is completed.
3:00 p.m. - Autocross and Show awards presentation
5:00 p.m. - HPT gate closes.
7:00 p.m. - Banquet (location TBD). The fully catered sit-down banquet will close the event. Menu choices will be communicated by email prior to the event. Special Awards will be presented at this time. Closing comments will be offered by Mr. Ralph Gilles and members of the SRT team
