Top Secret Challenger Parts

We have already begun to come up with upgraded top secret parts for this car. We should be unveiling some of these items for the LX platform near summers end, and they will be on the board for the Challenger. More to come as the development phases continue.

Keep posted.............

Re: Top Secret Challenger Parts

Do you work for an aftermarket specialist? I'd like to lobby for an aftermarket goodie that probably won't come from the factory: a wide range of rear gear ratios with a kit to ensure the rest of the cars systems (including speedometer) stay in sync. Maybe something like 3:08, 3:23, 3:55, 3:91 and 4:10. I'm partial to the 3:55 gears myself. Turn the car into a saturn v rocket while it still looks bone stock.

Re: Top Secret Challenger Parts

Mike,
We are actually a dealer, a Chrysler Jeep dealership that sells OEM parts and accessories and of course, Mopar Performance parts. We have ventured out of the norm a little when compared to other dealerships. We have a company that manufacturers some aftermarket parts for us that we market as well. As for your request, I'm there with you brother. Superchips is just now releasing their LX controller, and I do beleave it will allow for gear changes so everything stays in sync. We will leave the electronics to the professionals and look for other areas of improvements. We need to find someone who can do the gears for us, nothing like a 4.10 gear swap!

Re: Top Secret Challenger Parts

Yea hopefully superchips (or whoever) steps up to the plate. I'd take that before any kind of HP hop up, as there will be more than enough power esp. with a 6.4L variant. But I hear they're using like 3:08 or something in the charger which is just weak. I figure 3:55 would be a real sweet spot, but we need the whole range from 3:08 to 4:10. Even better DCX should offer it, I'm sure they'd get a lot of takers.

Re: Top Secret Challenger Parts

that's not the 'jet' chip is it? 6.1 owners over on 300cforums HATE that thing.

I'd be very interested in an E-Cutout pre-cat on the exhaust, cam, etc.. wanna make this thing rumble.

Re: Top Secret Challenger Parts

We are still working on a few things. Tough to produce an item for the car when you do not have anything to draw specifications from.

Yeah , see, it's still too early for designing /after market.. still partialy in "Top Secret " mode due to fierce competition ; as well as spy shot takers !!! It may be 8-10 months out until Chrysler would even think of releasing the necessary spec/design info for the Aftmodders to work with : is this how it works ? ????? ?
