Finally got around to upgrading my 295 street tires on the Scat Daddy to some 315/35/20 Nitto NT05R drag radials. They work pretty well from what I can tell so far. Going to the track later this evening. Car is stock height. Rims are 20x10 Axis Model 2 wheels.
Interested to hear your feedback/opinion as to how the traction is! I just installed MT SS DRs and am also hitting the track this evening. Had the NT ET DRs on my SP a few months ago and sold them. Like you I am anxious to see how they do,the others were great.
Pigman, I'm interested to see how those ET Street S/S tires do. I didn't even think they were out yet but I guess they are. I plan on getting those next spring in a 305. Be interested to see your 60ft times.
That is Badazzz!!!!!! Finally a rear foto that looks d@mn good. I'm glad to hear that 315's fit on 10" rims as I want to get 10" Hurst Stunners. Did they just mount on, or did you need to modify anything?
I am running 325/45 M&H racemasters and they hook nicely. I think it would be almost impossible to run street tires on this monster.... It spins these easy enough as it is..
Also I will assume it's an 8 speed because I doubt there will ever be a 6 spd stick 392 car run nearly 12 flat on DRs even with a skilled driver. If it ever happened I'd gladly pay to see it.
wow nice times , autos are that fast smh, makes me think I should of got one, but is the fun factor still there. and will a 800 hp 6 speed be nice or will a lightly modded auto still beat it?

Competition your Scat Daddy is Bad ASS!! Love the shot of the rear with all that meat back there!! And the wheels looks pretty close to the stock WRT wheels. Do you have any other shots of your ride from the side?
By the way, I wanted to see tread on your rear shot so I popped it into Photoshop and did some work. Looks so tough!
Thanks for that Photoshop, the car looks way better when you can see the tires like that! My car is not lowered at all. And no there are 0 other mods, aside from wheels and tires the car is bone stock. I'd like to order a air box kit for it this week. And yes I did mean 12.06 lol, my bad!
nice , I lowered mine with the H&R springs about 1.25 inch, you think its enough room, are you running about same height as stock tire and wheel dia. its hard for me to tell in the pics, plus I just keep staring at hose massive tires lol
That would be a close fit. I don't want to say they stick out, but they are definitely dead flush with the fender. Lowered a inch might be alright but any more than that would be a tough call.
Thought youd like to know. These figures are close assuming youre roughly 200 lbs. I computed it at 4600 lbs..
Your HP computed from your vehicle ET is 466.49 rear wheel HP and 518.33 flywheel HP.
Your HP computed from your vehicle MPH is 465.79 rear wheel HP and 517.54 flywheel HP.

I weighed my car a couple years ago with me in it it was 4460 .... but I was over 400 pounds at that time .... down to 280 so I guess this means my cars a lil faster lol
