best 60'

what are you running to get your best 60'?

I ran 100% stock this year to see what I could get out of my 392 and did get:

best 60' 1.841 on goodyear 255/45/20 F1's.

I will be getting a set of slicks next year. skipping drag radials even though I know people have run into the 7's on drag radials.

what tires/wheels are you running that got you your best 60'
what did you do to your suspension to get it there?

1.77 in my charger. Maggie, 3.73 getrag, 3000 rpm tc, hoosier 28x10x17 on weld rts, eibach pro (regret those). Heading up to fontana this weekend and hoping for a good DA, havent run the car in anything less than 90 degrees! Currently just learning how to drive, particularly launching with the new tc.

I have yet to run the 392 since i have been playing with the charger so much. When i do, i hope to match you numbers on the stock tires. Good news is my welds and hoosiers will fit the challenger too

That's a great 60' on street tires.

yup, I am hoping for 1.5-1.6 60' with slicks next season. that will get me real close to an 11 second time slip on a factory stock 392 with just tire change.

My best (in the 392) was a 1.873 on the stock 245/45/20 Goodyear RSA's. Ask me how hard that was....LOL. Most of the time I get 1.90's to 1.95's. I think ive gotten 3 1.8x 60ft's in all the times I have run the 392.

I am having a little better luck with the F1's.

I have 17 out of 42 runs where I got a 1.8 60'.
I have 15 out of 42 runs where I got a 1.9 60'

I have 4 out of 42 runs where I got higher than a 2.4 60'

My best on the good years was 1.84. I have been 1.73 on my drag radials. I don't think you can plan on going much better than 1.7x without a MUCH bigger converter.

I think I am going to run 275/40/17 hoosiers next season.

What is the max stall you can run before the TCM/PCM freaks out and starts to throw codes all over the place?
