The people already on the list are Grandfathered in, basically meaning the proof is already there. However if they want the list updated....then proof must be provided.

I will Update this Regularly, and hopefully get a format that shows up on the thread, but for now is in a .pdf file. I also have a quick reference chart now, to see the times and members...the more exstensive chart is still in .pdf format.

What is the second sentence? Can't quite figure it out.

WOW naovawagon .... you reeaalllly gutted ur car ..... ?? hows the getrag 373 in an auto ... dailly driver i was ganna ask but gutted .. probably not ....

#79 ·
Not quite a daily driver, but I will have around 8k miles on it this year.
I have made several 3-hour drives on the highway for M&Gs. I have also made several 2+ hour trips to go to different tracks.

I am driving it 8+ hours (each way) to ATCO in November.

When I get home from ATCO, I will put the interior back together. I gutted the car with a specific goal in mind. I'm alsmost there. Once I hit it (not "IF"!), I will still track the car, but not gutted like this (just seats out).

3.73 gears are a blast on the street...that is if you like the sound of squealing tires and going sideways. I do most of my highway driving at 70 mph...RPM is about 2600-2700 at that speed with 245/45/20 tires. I actually like it since it is now above the "drone". The 3.06's were right in the middle of the "drone". Before I installed the headers, I was still getting 26 mpg on the highway with the 3.73 gears and MDS. Now, with the headers, I cannot stand the sound of the MDS, so I'm sure the mileage will drop to low 20's.

New PB and reset the record for 5.7 N/A Super Stock

10-17-2010
Thompson Drag Raceway (Thompson, OH)
12.09 @ 110.83 (1.60 60') DA=1473

Race weight 3800 with driver.

Only made two passes today. Track was PACKED! Lots of real race cars...not a T&T day. Track prep was awesome. Just stab the gas and steer.

So after the second pass, it was time for me to head for home. Went back to the pits to swap the wheels. Jacked up the front and removed one skinny. went to install the 20" street wheel, and had to go up another pump with the jack to get the wheel on. First pump on the jack and the car slipped off the jack. Jack bent the lower radiator core support enough the smash the radiator. Mental note: floor jack does not roll under the car in the grass.

So with coolant pouring out, I called a tow truck and continued changing the tires. It is things like this that make me think twice about driving the car to ATCO. As much as I want to be a hardazz and drive it there, kick butt, and drive home, I am seriously considering borrowing a trailer. Still undecided. I will replace the radiator this week, and be back on the track next weekend.

Had a great time hanging out with Wendy, Bobbi, and Ken, too. Despite my goof with the jack, it was a great day. I am still on cloud nine!

11's... here I come!
