Good video!

I went ahead and used standard slip joint pliers to take the tension off of the hose clamp, and move the 'ears' to a more vertical position in order to increase clearance for future routine catch-can checking and draining.

I'm not sure what you're referring to? My catch can has no hose clamps. The hoses just slip on.

The water pump hose clamp. Refer to capture from the video here:

Are these catch cans really necessary. I sure do feel like a sucker for one, but honestly, is this a real issue with the R/T 5.7L? Either way, thanks for the video. That was a very good demonstration.

From what I've seen, YES. My Vette buddies run them too and highly recommended it.

Seems most folks get 1-2oz a month outta the thing depending on how much you drive and what not.

I'm going to monitor mine and update the page with the amount I get out of it.

Speedy,

Will this install with the stock air intake? It looks like the extended part will cover up / prevent it from fitting.

It "may" fit with the stock air box, but that muffler "may" be in the way. I'm not 100% sure. Billet Tech can answer that question for ya though.
