I took a close look at it today and compared your instructions and I don't see how it can fit with the muffler there. I'll contact BT and see what they suggest. Thanks for the info!

I looked at mine after watching your video (2009 RT, Stock). No way to mount it there with the muffler without making a modified bracket (looked at it at work) going to see if there is another place close by that it can be mounted as soon as I get some time.

Ok went out and looked at it in my garage and got a few pictures.

Here is the amount of room you have without the engine cover

The Depth

The Width

And worst of all, you would have to modify (cut) the engine cover for clearance.

This is one thread I'm keeping my eyes on.

The can will NOT mount on the stud with the stock air cleaner and resonator on it. BT has a fender mount bracket that will attach to the right fender "tab" sticking out of the right side fender. It doesn't look as nice and neat as the stud mount on the front of the engine but Chris hooked me up with the fender bracket. Lots of hose though. I am looking for some nice skinny vinyl tubing to run to the can on the fender and make a cleaner set up.

My can does NOT have the nice looking knurled bottom on the removeable part though.

One other thread shows the resonator cut off and a plug installed in the hole. But does anyone know where to get the clamp? It was on a CAI thread.

With the resonator attached on the stock airbox, you have to use the alternate mounting location for the BT can. I ran into the same issue (BT Catch can install on a 6-speed RT). However you need to order the bracket (or fab one up) to do it this way...

That clamp was something the guy had left over from some other car. Removing that resonator on the intake would be pretty easy to do though. Just put something over it, like maybe a PVC plug from Home Depot's plumbing dept.

Has anyone used the fuse box mount option for the catch can or purchased the bracket to use with the stock intake?
The first true catch can for the LX based Hemi rides both 5.7 and 6.1's.
