70 Challenger R/T Restoration Info Needed

I am Restoring a 70 Challenger Hemi R/T and need information pertaining to the location of all techinical decals for the engine compartment, interior, glove box and trunk.

I have all the resto books, factory service manual, factory parts manual none have complete information or it is vague. I have also scoured the web for images of complete Hemi R/T's but have not been able to assemble the info I need.

Can anybody help with this?

Thanks

Re: 70 Challenger R/T Restoration Info Needed

I'd suggest you give Year One a call - they have a pretty good support department. The other choice would be Galen Govier thru his website.

Re: 70 Challenger R/T Restoration Info Needed

Thanks for the tips. I had already spoke with the Year One and Paddock tech departments. I didn't think of contacting Galen Govier though, I'll give him a shout.

Thanks again.

Re: 70 Challenger R/T Restoration Info Needed

Yeah! Thats what I'm talkin about. Nice work.

Have you got the info you need? If not let me know. I have several cars that are still orig and can take some shots for you. The funny thing is that the stickers are not consistient in their placement. They vary a little. Let me know.

Re: 70 Challenger R/T Restoration Info Needed

That's one thing about the Challengers is their LACK OF CONSISTENCY! Lots of things varied car to car...Think about this: Low mileage Challengers (and other Mopars) have had carpets replaced, and joints have been found underneath the carpet! The guys putting these cars together weren't concerned with details or correctness...

Re: 70 Challenger R/T Restoration Info Needed

Thanks to all I got the information and yes there does not seem to be any set location for many of the decals just a general area where to slap them down.
Once again thanks to all.
