Can't find passenger fender for '72, help

I've tried the local wrecking yards, and Desert Valley Auto Parts in AZ. Desert Valley took my order. Here I am anxiously waiting for my fender, call them back and they tell me the part was too damaged to send out but didn't contact me. So I'm down 3 weeks waiting for nothing.

Are there any places anyone can lead me to so I can get the fender as I'm re-assembling and getting closer to paint?

TIA

They should not be long. I just received the new issue of Mopar Muscle and the did an article showing them doing an install.

There is a few on ebay.... 1,200 allmost new and 250 for one that needs work. (see bottom of page on Ebay Stores)

How much can you spend & what shape are you looking for it to be in, (the worse the shape the better the price.)... so we can keep an eye out.

Re: Can't find passenger fender for '72, help

OMG, 1200 for almost new? *gasp*

Well, it's holding up my project...I'm still working on redoing the kframe/suspension, so I do have 'some' time. Also waiting on my block at the machine shop. I suppose I could change gears and focus on the drivetrain / suspension in hopes that the new repro one will be out from GoodMark by end of year.

I don't know...I have one now, just the headlight bezel area is hammered. I don't care about OEM parts. I just need something to work with thats reasonable I guess.

I'll keep searching ebay too.

Thanks for all the help guys...this is ONE LONG process redoing my baby...

Re: Can't find passenger fender for '72, help

Why doesn't Mopar just make a run of body parts as well as other parts ? Of course now that the New Dodge Challenger is up next they probably wouldn't want that..but still !!!!!!!!! Plus that might devalue everyone's 70's models ?
