Gotta say bye bye to my baby

Oh well it is a sad day. Due to money issues I had to sell my baby. It will be hard to see her go but at least it won't be local so I won't see someone else driving her.

Re: Gotta say bye bye to my baby

What car was it? The Challenger? Anyway DONT DO IT. I spent years putting together pieces to make a nice ride one day, 500 ci stroker, six pack, built trans, wheels.. Found a 68 Barracuda in GREAT shape, started putting it all together and decided to move. I figured I could use the extra cash, so i sold it ALL. That was 7 years ago and I regret it everyday.... Get an extra job, sell something else, but you will regret selling your car...

Re: Gotta say bye bye to my baby

Already been sold. The good part is I won't see it driving around the neighborhood since I didn't sell her locally. Unless I take a trip to Sweden that is.

Re: Gotta say bye bye to my baby

Ahhh,y-ahhhh we'd better watch out ! !! With the daily dropping of value of the American Dollar , our products are exhibiting a renewed interest from Europeans , whose Euro is quite strong at the moment, with a "feeding frenzy" of American goods !!!! In fact now I'm wondering if a few Challengers might be leaving our shores in a halo of mist !!!

Re: Gotta say bye bye to my baby

It was a numbers matching 1972 Plum Crazy Challenger.

Why can't other countries have our cars, they have our jobs already.

Re: Gotta say bye bye to my baby

Mine was non-number's '73, 340 Cuda'. I sold it pretty cheap twelve year's ago 'cause I needed cash. And at the time, I thought a 72-74 would never be worth anything. It was complete, rust free, and a very good runner. I'm pretty sure it was faster than the 340 Challenger I have now. I still bite my lip everytime I think of it
