Re: How Many Folks Own a 70-74 Challenger?

My first car was a '70 Challenger. I restored it and it ended up with a 383 4bbl, 18 spline 4 speed, 8 3/4, Shaker, Go Wing, Tuff Wheel, Sublime paint with a black Bumble Bee stripe, Halibrand Wheels, and all that. It was an R/T clone though....was originally a Sublime 318/auto S.E. with a black top/interior. It was pretty rough when I got it (had to weld a new roofskin on, quarters, trunk floor, extensions, rockers, door skins, etc.), so I just kinda did what I wanted with it. My avatar is a post-resto pic of it. I sold it like an idiot a few years ago.

Re: How Many Folks Own a 70-74 Challenger?

hey guys this is my 1st posting my name is Ralph I have 2 challengers, One is a 1970 R/T #matching 383 was a 4spd but was change to auto, some robby racer removed the int. P.S. P.B. EM.Break ass. The whole dash was removed some time in the 80s. When I found it it was a basket case the owner had striped the paint off 0ne side . He had most off the original parts. He did not no if the motor #. matched. They did! was a very good find! It took 2 years and about $16,000 to finish and i loved every step of the way. MY other challenger is a 1972 340 rally 4spd original MR . Norms car. Found this one with a blown motor.Rebuilt a 1969 motor and it was good to go. That was back in 1984. Iam showing my age haw. this beeing my 1st posting. I think ive said enoff.
