Dont forget to try Ebay, if you've got the time to wait a few weeks or months, you'll definately find a car in your area.

Re: Looking for 70-74 Challenger

I might be coming out to Portland area at the end of August ! If so,I'd be going down to the Monterey,California area for another week, and after that then I could drive it back ,provided the gas would be paid for or something like that[ at least back to Chicagoland !

Re: Looking for 70-74 Challenger

Im in ohio, I dont care where the car is. I'll pay to have it shipped to me. I just want a Challenger that is in running and driving condition, It can be a piece of crap, I dont care. I've always wanted a Challenger and if I dont get one soon, I'll never be able to affoard one. I did look on ebay, The cheapest one I could find that was drivable was buy it now $8,500 which is actually pretty good because the car was in good shape. I'm looking for one that may be a little... crappy, or rusted out really badly, Maybe one I could buy that was drivable for around $3,000 - $4,500 . I don't have much money to spend so I just want what I can get, But it has to be drivable.Doesn't have to be street legal, It can have missing bumpers, windows, whatever, I just want one so bad, I would almost get rid of my Monte Carlo for a beat up old Challenger

Re: Looking for 70-74 Challenger

Are you going to the Mopar Nats next weeked? Just in case you were not aware it is in Columbus. It's the 11th 12th & 13th. The prices are generaly inflated due to people speculating. However you may run across someone without these $$$$$ in thier eyes. Suday is also a good day to catch someone who is willing to deal so they don't have to haul the car back home. I am right next door in WV. I will keep my eyes open for you. I know where a 'cuda sits if it hasn't been snatched up yet.

Re: Looking for 70-74 Challenger

I'm probably going to go, me and my girlfriend were talking about it last night, My Uncle will probably go too. I wonder if I can trade my Nice 77 Monte Carlo for an 'okay 70-74 Challenger' I know my car isn't worth anything near what a Challenger is but someone might be willing to trade. My car only needs very little body work and paint, Interior is perfect and the engine runs like new. So if anyone is interested in a trade, I'll post more pics of my car and information on it.
