Exclamation New member...Hello to ya'll!

I just wanted to say hello before heading off to bed. I've got a '72 that I've been slowly screwing around with for about two years now and recently got the ambition to get some real work done on her. I'll be in here quite a bit now with questions and comments and pictures and such. Hopefully I can find some good advice, parts sources and people on here! G'night to ya, for now.

Come on in boy, have a cigar, you're gonna go far...

Yea, Pink Floyd fan, for sure.

Mostly though, this is just my avatar at the other forum I'm always on, cadillacforums.com, under the same SN.

Re: New member...Hello to ya'll!

Welcome, what have you done to your 72? Here is the only pic I can get to load of my 70 R/T 440 sixpack shaker car. Are you gonna do a full/partial resto? Any Hi-Po parts?

Re: New member...Hello to ya'll!

And a damned beautiful picture it is!

My 72 has a mild/moderate 440 and an automatic. I've so far rebuilt the brakes to factory specs and had a buddy of mine who was going to wyotech build a nice well-rounded 727 for me. My eventual plans are to make it a big block car that can run on SCCA courses on fun-runs. I'll never comete with it, but I want it to be able to stop and corner just as well as it goes in a straight line...kind of like what Dodge would have done had they built a big block T/A Challenger. One of these days soon, I'll get some pictures uploaded and give more info on it. I'm off to breakfast right now though...

Re: New member...Hello to ya'll!

Airfuel...definately going to want to hook up with you and talk more about your setup. I'm a few months away from getting to that point, but I want something that can TURN! I'm not too worried about the motor. My 440 is a very very solid big block and I havn't even begun to work on the heads yet, so I'm not worried about getting power.
