The Engine

I know many of you have been waiting for this while all the body work is being handled I have been taking care of the engine so let's start with the basic motor before and it's ready to be installed this week for a test fit with the suspension.

You're going to take a beating from purists. The motor should be orange, and brackets in black (Bouchillon Performance has all the pieces you'd need to convert it). That said...it looks great!! What are the power ratings?

That's awesome! what heads are on that? I have W-2s on a similar build.

yeah I thought about that before we started but being a 72 and making her more of a custom/resto mod and me liking to hit car shows I went for this look. I've been there in the past with doing classic restorations made me crazy chasing down original parts year specific having the proper markings and when finished was afraid to drive the car for fear... this one will be a cruiser and I plan on driving it to events

I wish I had used the W-2 heads but the motor has 69S heads and they have been worked over

did the test fit yesterday drawing mud lines and fabbing up to conceal the wiring got to have a clean engine bay. Hope to have color by the weekend on the engine bay.
