The Engine

I know many of you have been waiting for this while all the body work is being handled I have been taking care of the engine so let's start with the basic motor before and it's ready to be installed this week for a test fit with the suspension.

test fit on the A/C unit (wqas returned to get the proper pulley)

Painting the block

Here's the finished Product

As I lay rubber down the street, I pray for traction I may keep, and if I do begin to slide, please dear God protect my ride! - Amen!!!!

Hulk smash!

I love American muscle cars like a thrice-divorced 45-year old tax attorney loves barely legal coeds. That is to say; passionately, inappropriately and almost certainly inadequately while muttering whispered apologies to the beautiful thing I am probably ruining forever.

You're going to take a beating from purists. The motor should be orange, and brackets in black (Bouchillon Performance has all the pieces you'd need to convert it). That said...it looks great!! What are the power ratings?

yeah I thought about that before we started but being a 72 and making her more of a custom/resto mod and me liking to hit car shows I went for this look. I've been there in the past with doing classic restorations made me crazy chasing down original parts year specific having the proper markings and when finished was afraid to drive the car for fear... this one will be a cruiser and I plan on driving it to events

I wish I had used the W-2 heads but the motor has 69S heads and they have been worked over
