Re: Twin Screw Sc!

That looks sweet! The web site does not list any prices. I wonder how much they run?

Re: Twin Screw Sc!

Based on the information I have been able to dig up on this, I would absolutely love to have this on the Challenger. I can't wait to find out more information as the product details are released in the very near future. Highly anticipating this addon.

Re: Twin Screw Sc!

Before, GSM was a no no. But now with tuning, I assume they will be reliable like the rest.

Is this the S/C that was blowing up Chargers? If not, anyone know which brand it was that was so problematic?

Re: Twin Screw Sc!

No, this is a new design supercharger that Richwood/GSM is bringing to the market. Unfortunately all previous brands had their problems, due to the inability to tune the systems and the design limitations. Previous versions used add fuel before the intake plenum that did not distribute the air/fuel mixture evenly due to the boost. Typically #1 cylinder would be too lean while #8 would be to rich. This is a much more efficient design in that the fuel is added directly to the cylinder port after boost. With the new ability to tune the systems for additional fuel tables we should be seeing a considerable improvement over the early supercharger versions. I expect this one to be the one to watch, as the design is extremely efficient.
