Re: Vanishing Point

I've seen both and I like both but I would have to say the 1st one was better.

As for the original Gone In Sixty Seconds that car was not factory. It could of been someone swapped in a big block but, also if you notice in a couple of scenes they have a 70 Challenger look alike.

yeah... could be since it had the R/T badges and the stripe on it... looked like a VERY nice clone if it was... and hard to believe back then but who knows??

Re: Vanishing Point

The first one didn't HAVE a storyline! They just about could have said "Ok, here are the car chase scenes, here are your character types, now ad lib everything between the car scenes."

Not that I'm complaining, that's quite possibly what made the first one so great.

Yeah,,I/ we all feel this way; but then someone does a bad move and then complaints come in and a 'so-called' lawmaker makes a new law >>speeding<< where most people are doing multiple violations daily . Some probably have heard stories of an elderly couple getting a ticket for going 0ne mile over the posted limit ! In fact, years ago while listening to the radio heard that it was a psychologist that thought up traffic [speeding] laws as a way to control the masses ! I need to research this..find out just who this guy/gal was ?? ???
