Re: 2008 challenger 4sale

It will be difficult to find a dealer who will discount a Challenger early in the 2009 model run- too much pent-up demand. You will have a better chance at a discount (SE or R/T models only) if you wait until January/February 2009 and if you shop dealers.

Re: 2008 challenger 4sale

Car sales can really suck. Depending on who you are and how you do it. The only thing I do is SRT forums. As for pricing below MSRP on early 09's...........I am sending out a check today for my vendor fees. As soon as they will allow me I will post up my pricing on the 09's.

Re: 2008 challenger 4sale

I don't care how bad I want the car I will never pay over MSRP. I'm not saying it's wrong for anybody else to pay over MSRP. I'm just saying that if I ever lost my mind and paid more than MSRP I would eventually regret it.

Re: 2008 challenger 4sale

if you even paid sticker for a srt8 300 jeep or magnum you got ripped off. i am a salesman at a Chrysler and jeep store. and used to work at store with dodge as well. if you waited two months after they came out you could have gotten one for well under sticker. the charger was hard to get for 2 months now my sister store as 8 of them last time i checked. i know the challenger will stay hard to get for while but if you wait it out all the stores will have them couple months after they came out. hell when the PT first came out people were paying 5k over sticker. now we have 13 we can't sell at triple net....

Rambit I really hope you get one I think you will wait and use it
Hey buddy, I've got a newsflash for you, I've been a carsalesman years ago, I know what they are sold for and what the dealers buy them for, and I know what it takes to bring ethics into the business. I have a master's in marketing and strategic leadership and I'm an active duty Air Force officer now. I've bought a lot of cars, 2 SRT's, 1 R/T, and 2 Jeeps in the last 4 years and I never paid over MSRP, not ONCE, even when the SRT's first came out in 06. You are an idiot and most of all a bottom feeder! Get off this forum because as you can see from the 09's, they are going for MSRP or below. Nice try though. I don't miss doing what you do, but I can tell you I was ethical when doing it and never priced gouged the way certain dealers do now. THERE IS NO JUSTIFICATION FOR IT WHATSOEVER, unless people are stupid enough to pay it. If they aren't and have some thread of intelligence, then you need to back down if you want to make a living and carry a loyal customer base. That one's free. Oh, and FYI, my SRT-8 Challenger's on order now, and I will be getting it for under MSRP, so yes, I know as others on this forum do, what they are really going for! Good luck selling!
