I hate when people judge me I don't go to your job and treat you like crap. I am not typical because if I don't want to talk you I love to say leave.

The guy backed out because he had to buy 3 trucks for his company.

Of course they want 10k over. I saw that is what they are going for on the internet..
I will tell you this... They sold it for 7500 over and I have been asking for the bottom. I have to talk to the owner. The car has Nav and my gig. MSRP is 41035 and I will even tell you invoice is 38553. That typical right?
And on delivery yes I would have to charge.

I had thought of saying in my first reply: Welcome to Challengertalk ,but wanted to wait until my 2nd ;since I wasn't sure if you were a salesperson or another employee [or even a friendly neighborhood Moparian].It just seemed somewhat unusual for a new member to start off with a sales pitch. Since you are new,you wouldn't know that at times, scammers wanting to sell [without apparently knowing Challengertalk's policies] have invaded the forum's website.I was waiting for your reply to assess you. My last sentence in post #2 was a comical "wish" since I have driven vehicles nationwide for one of [if not the first] America's driveaway companies. Your reply however by saying ' most real guys ..would have known ..and should have known' ; implies a certain connotation : as I replied back with said similarity !!! I never said you were a typical Saleman ;just 'may be' atypical . Yet, again on your next reply you said ,'You hate people who judge..and I love to say leave' which sounds as though you have told customers to leave !!! There have been many members telling of all sorts of prices for the 2008 Challenger ,from just under MSRP to 5,10 and at least $20,000 [if not higher] over MSRP : which most if not all here just will not succumb to this type of salesmenship &/or badgering or price gouging .Although I've never [been able to buy] bought a new vehicle ,I had first and second hand experiences with dealerships /salespeople most of which are negative :i.e one selling a useless extended warranty for $1200 to my [89ish yr old] MOM on a brand new car , then the ones who my brother dealt with ,who mostly have a Piranha /Vulture-like way of approachment &/or salesmanship ! One salesman who approached me was the worst ;after 2 or 3 times of me telling him I was not interested /did not need his services. He was quite rude /obnoxious.I went to the person at this podium-like spot/desk and asked for the owner [or manager] who wasn't there then .After I'd left,I saw/heard this "guy" go up and whisper,"What did he say"? ...what he'd want..Who is that 'guy' ?!?! That salesman is "lucky " I was not the owner and would have had to point him toward the EXIT sign. Thanks for saying what the invoice is. This makes you the second salesman to tell us this ! Also, I did not know one could actually buy a Challenger online ,even though as you said most dealers are wanting $10k over MSRP . I know Glenwood Springs is a nice and beautiful area ,as is the Ponderosa Lodge I once stayed at : so if anyone wants a good deal : see w31 at the only Chrysler /Dodge dealer in town @ 175 Storm King Rd. or call him at 970-945-5456 !! Welcome to Challengertalk

Thanks for the welcome I wish you and I started off on a better foot.
I pride myself that I respect my customers. One has to see my point of view for one second; I start off with a bad rap. Most people cop attitude or lie right from the start. I have been on your side to so I understand what is going on in your head also. I understand what buying a car is. I feel if it's a Kia or a car like this you made a big investment.

Ya , the bold part above , I testify to , as you'll be able to pick up in two other different threads where all he wants to do is drive/deliver them Challengers to customers that ordered ..... , as I'm his co-pilot heheh also seen quoted in these threads

Now Mr. Salesman we wish you a warm welcome aboard our magic carpet ride , and I wish you all the luck in the world to find a single , willing board member to pay you more than 1,000 over MSRP ...... most here have this kind of attitude towards those who wish to score profit on our backs
Hey we understand it's part of the game goin' on right now , but we don't want to play ...... you'll need to find yourself a desperate blinded gung ho rich fella who has no problem throwing out money to be able to brag he has a first-run Chally .... big woopty doo ..... the upcoming ones will have at least stickshift more color options and so on
Enjoy yourself here though as we have great reads .... a good informed salesman is rare these days

It sure sucks , but think of all this waiting and bucks you're saving as you're waiting - it's like an additional weekly paycheck adding up in your wallet .... put towards your Chally to booth !
Good things come to those who wait

Now all the SRT's went for more than sticker. I came here so I could find someone who loved the car. As you have seen on barret-jackson there are alot of guys with to much money just grabbing anything at any price. This is right next to Aspen I was tring to avoid from that happening. For that I have been mocked and and insulted. It is not my fault that the car is over sticker, we have all seen that before. The Shelby GT 500 never went down from 20000 over and this car walks all over that. So no worries guys.
I do not like over the sticker pricing either. Let's be serious the HYPE will never wear down. If it did why would there be a forum?

O ya I myself question the auto trans.

Re: 2008 challenger 4sale

I think what a lot of dealers fail to understand is this is not exactly a rare car by defination when they're pumping out over 6000 of them. Sure it's cool to have one of the first and some will pay to have a car at $20K over and be happy to do it, but my guess is a lot of dealers are going to have these cars sitting on their lots eating up inventory dollars until they wake up and sell at MSRP.

I have the 3rd SRT8 on any board that I'm aware of and although I paid MSRP it wasn't a dime over. That was back when the SRT8 was a huge deal. Essentially this is the same powertrain that's been around for 3 years now, just in a new skin.
