My favorite is my Custom mode,

Transmission - Sport
Paddle Shifters - On
Traction - Street
Suspension - Street
Steering - Sport

Just think this is the best combination of performance and a smooth ride.

For one of the standard SRT modes, I'll take Sport. Same as above and ride is firm but still not bad.

Love the way the A8 shifts in Sport!

Sport Mode is always activated on my Scat Pack. The demeanor of the car is just all around better, and more enjoyable to drive.

Besides, I bought eight cylinders, and in Sport Mode, it always has eight cylinders "working". No MDS for me

I drive around in Sport Mode about 95% of the time. I use Default Mode when I'm on long highway trips. I had MDS turned off with my custom tune. Track Mode is what I use for the dragstrip as the trans shifts harder/faster in that mode, but it's a bit much for normal street driving.

Sport Mode: (M6 trans)
>Steering - Sport
>ESP - Sport

Default:
>Steering - Sport
>ESP - On/normal mode

when I'm driving on rainy roads in Sport, I'll over-ride the ESP back to Normal (single push of button on console)

Plus - there's more exhaust pop / crackle in Sport...love that.

I was wondering about that Hal, as mine pops and crackles like crazy. Just love it too, as the sound fits the looks of the car!
