of course i did - i just don't randomly toss out statements like that without seeing or doing it on my own.
i've owned the 5.7, 6.1 and 6.4.
my SRT8300C was quick, but would get drug by it's own ball sack by a 392 up over 100mph.
i did a quick pull from 80-159mph in my old 6.1 after it had just got done being CMR'd by Brian@SNL - it was nice, but not even close to the stupidness described as the "392 top end".
it's not even close - and whoever thinks it is, must be high on angel dust.
there is a much closer gap between the 5.7 and 6.1 than the 6.1 to 6.4.........6.1 to 6.4 is not even close.....
It should be noted that those first gen SRT8s can be relatively light, my 300 weighed 4150 with a half tank of gas. I'm sure it was under 4100 with the gas light on when I would race it. The new SRT8s are heavy, maybe the Challenger is down around 4100 pounds. I haven't weighed mine yet.
