Hey guys, here is the link to the car. I am going to pass on the white but have found a few black ones and now with the new year it seems the dealers are more then motivated to get these 2012's off the lot.
SO.. I read up to the point your girlfriend doesnt think the challenger is manly enough? Im sorry... BUT ITS A FLIPPIN CHALLENGER SRT8. *Flips Desk* in a beautiful and simple colour. Id hate to see what she thought was girly.. Because geezus. I think a White/Black/Green Challenger SRT8 is one of the "Manliest" modern cars on the road. lol
I love my crazy looking 300, I still get people telling me that's a nice ride and it just turned 8! For me the white I could make work but the black just screamed take me home from the get go, she reminded me of this while making fun of me a bit at the same time.
For the record, she drives a lime green smart car... so hers is very very girly.
She has no issues with the car, it was simply the color. I showed her a few of the black one and instantly she says "now that's your new ride!" I tend to agree with her and I was leaning towards the white largely because it was a screaming deal. However I have received about 4 emails from all the local dealers with their "new offers". Being 2013 they DO NOT want these 2012 SRT's on the lot.
Not their biggest fan, but since you seem to be in the general area Champion has a black SRT for $41K (watch the bait & switch on that number, though).
If I were in the market right now for a Challenger, I would wait a couple of months what the 2014 updates will look like. You will still be able to find 2012s in the Spring.
Hell I don't even remember vanishing point but I'm not buying it for a TV show, I'm buying it because it's a kick ass car! I will give the guys at champion a ring and see what's up with that price.
