I just did the June 11 SRT driving experience and all I can say is WOW! What an incredible day, here is what we did:
Autocross in a Charger Hellcat - 3 runs, I got to to a 4th
Lead & Follow (you follow the instructor around the race track) in a Viper for ~8-10 laps, don't know how fast we were going because I never had time to look at the speedometer.
Accident avoidance in a Challenger SRT, about 30 minutes worth of runs.
Skid pad in a Charger SRT.
Lastly, 2 hot laps in a Challenger Hellcat with the instructors driving and me in the passenger seat. It is unreal how fast the instructors can drive, I think their goal is to make you **** your pants.
Let me tell you it is 100% worth any travel you might have to do. The instructors, cars and facility were top notch.
*All cars were automatics except for the Vipers and hot lap.
Wow, sounds like you had a blast! You got to drive the Hellcat and the Viper!!
Back in 2009, my SRT Experience at Englishtown Raceway was lame. It rained all day and it affected the speed of the driving on the small autocross track (the worst track and road surface on the SRT circuit, according to the instructors). In addition, we were not allowed to use the 1/4 track and, instead used a make-shift drag strip in the parking lot. The only Viper present was for photo opts.
The hotlaps Hellcat wasn't an M6? I saw a video of a run and it was amazing, instructor said as hard as they run those car never had to replace a Hellcat clutch and that car had 12,000 miles racetrack miles on it, obviously those guys can drive and also take care of the equipment.

You are correct, the hot lap Challengers were M6. I forgot because I was hanging on for dear life.
There were no Hellcats or Vipers when I went earlier this year in Daytona. But they had some 2015's for the autocross.
It was a great time all together. The Hot laps was the greatest fun I had!
The instructors can drive!
Thanks for the review!
Sounds like a great time! I just wish it was closer. I will give this a go possibly later on this year or next. The OP said he was a passenger for the Hellcat laps. I don't think the want to risk losing one of them, or the Viper either for that matter.
I brought that topic up with some of the other attendees and their attitude was that they would have to travel 3-4 hours to a closer track anyway if they were driving, so they flew instead of driving. Same time penalty, might cost a bit more to fly than drive.
It was a lot of fun, that hot lap was freaking awesome! Those instructors can drive the crap out of the hellcat - enough so that I am considering taking the 3-4 day class!
I just bought my third srt , I didn't notice on the window sticker the srt drivers experience , is it still included in the purchase or is it separate for a 2016 model yr
It's still part of buying an SRT. I wish it could be deducted for those that won't use it. I sold my last one by transferring it, but that's no longer allowed.
There is a Sheraton at Wild Horse Pass that many stayed at. Also, a separate hotel at the casino. There are a bunch down I-10 at Chandler Blvd. and Ray Rd. as well that are only minutes from Bondurant.
Sounds like you had a blast! To all you pre-owned SRT folks: call SRT and give them your VIN, they will let you know if your new to you car is eligible for the track experience. I was lucky, the original owner never did it, so I had a blast at Daytona last May.
I bought my 2011 SRT last July. I emailed SRT my Vin and because the previous owner hadn't used it they let me sign up. Driving Vipers and Hellcats on a road track was a awesome experience, and then there is the hotlap.....WOW.
I was hoping whoever had that go pro was going to post this. Turned out much better then my phone recording (got bounced around to much to keep it steady)
I've stopped by there a few times before they finally got the new program up & running. The cars are cool and talking with the drivers, they're a cool bunch too. My son & I are both driving in August. Looks like it will be epic!
