New 392 Hemi with Petty's Garage CAI and Borla Atak Exhaust

Hey fellas, newbie to the forum, but I have been trolling it for sometime. One of my neighbors who is 09elephant on here convinced me to get a new challenger. I also went to the recent show at Petty's Garage in Randleman, NC and was amazed at all the different renditions of the new challenger.

I purchased my challenger from a local dealership and two weeks later took into the Petty garage for a few modifications. Installed was a custom Petty's garage carbon fiber CAI and a Borla Atak exhaust. The exhaust sounds amazing and is quite deep. The guys at the Petty garage are awesome and even threw in a free dyno run. On a cold run in standardized conditions on a dynojet the baseline whp was 403. I'll attach the dyno graph of a cold run with CAI and exhaust installed, needless to say I was impressed....the seat of the pants dyno confirms as well!!

Hey Johnnyy, my car is very similar to yours, same color with stripe delete. Did your full racing exhaust cause the check engine light to show?

yes, but the sound and performance are worth it.

09 Challenger R/T automatic...4 tires, stick-on convex mirror, seats

It's not that I really needed 370 hp...but having 150+ hp riding shotgun at a moment's bidding w/o a 6000 rpm moonshot is what makes me feel like I'm in the right car for me. The roar of a v8 seals the deal!

The Google keyword is "ethanol-free gas". The truth is coming to light. Check out http://pure-gas.org/

Check engine light is definitely worth any performance exhaust on these beasts, can't tell you how many jaws have dropped when I get my 392 going.

by "full system", i'm assuming catless longtubes......

only reason i ask is because a basic catback won't throw codes...
