Official 2014 SRT8/Core 392 Owners Thread

I figured I would start a 2014 thread for those of us out there who have placed our orders for the next MY so we can track statuses and post an obscene amount of pictures I know I am not the only one who has placed a 2014 order so chime in with what you have coming!

I just returned from the dealership this morning placing my order. She will be:

PCP w/ white stripes
Performance Tires
Vapor Chrome Rims
730n Radio
Harmon Kardon Audio Group

Can't wait!!

I have one coming!

I have ordered a Core SRT8 Challenger in Plum Crazy but kind of a bummer that Dodge has not even started building them as of yet. the other problem that I see is that all of the "go fast" after market items will take a year or more before you can get them on a 2014 now this really does suck, having to ride around a stock STR8 for over a year..........damn!
But, the first thing I'm going to do is replace the tires/wheels and the exhaust system to get rid of the mickymouse exhaust tips that totally look fake.
I could care less about a radio or the tires that Dodge offers and the wheels, I want to select my own from the open market not just have one choice that Dodge offers.

Well you know the 2013 and 2014 are identical. The only thing, as far as I am aware and have found in researching, is that if you want to get a custom tuner (a Diablo) you will absolutely have to wait for that until next year. Heck they haven't even cracked the 2013s yet...so you can just plan on not having a 2014 tune until at the earliest this time next year.

Anything else though from CAIs, TBs, exhaust, stats, braces, etc etc...the 2013 stuff will fit on the 2014.

My initial Day 1 mods will be a drop in K&N (since the SRT8s are already CAI from the factory and I have yet to see definitive proof that an add on CAI will actually help) and some blastin bob straight pipes. I will also probably have the Fastman do a TB job on my TB...that guy is local to me here in the Twin Cities (lucky me!) so talked to him and I will just take mine off, drop it off at his place to do the job and pick it up. Save me some costs there.

Next year I will get a tuner.

I am shocked that PCP is available for ordering right at the beginning of the new model year. Usually it is a late year color availability option.

Yeah I think there will be 3 high impact colors this MY. PCP, Header Orange and Sublime Green. My understanding is PCP will be available now through October, which then a new color will come up to order.

I may be wrong but I read the 2014 model year production starts late July/early August and the cars wont start showing up on lots until mid September at the earliest. That's why I didnt wait for a '14 model. I wanted to be able to enjoy my new car in the summer months.

I: Built, pending final inspection 6/13/13
J: Built, OK'd: 6/17/13
KZ: Released by plant, invoiced 6/18/13
KZM: First rail departure 6/20/13

So just to clarify, the core option is carrying into the 2014 model year?
