There are enough of us floating around with Yellow Jackets on order now that we should start our own thread!
This will be the place to post your pics when you finally take delivery on your Yellow Jacket in just a few short weeks.
For now, introduce yourself, tell us where you're from, how you've optioned out your Yellow Jacket, what upgrades you are planning, and maybe other cars in your fleet. I'll go first.
I'm from Evansville, IN. Ordered a 6-spd, upgraded tires, NO sunroof, 730N w/ Premium Sound, Mopar Appearance package. My Speedlogix catch can is also on its way (thanks Shawn!) and skip shift eliminator. Eventually I want to get the Speedlogix CAI, Zoomers exhaust (maybe, I have to hear it in person first), and the back-up camera. Before I even drive off the lot I'm going to have them activate the DRLs and Navigation input while driving.
Other cars I own: '05 Audi A6 and '01 Nissan Pathfinder. This will be my first Mopar!
No I didn't take it the wrong way, I have a good sense of humor, I did get the play on words, as a matter of fact I thought the yellow jacket jacket being all black was kind of ironic, but like I said strange sense of humor, or good? Lol
Anybody taken there car to car show yet ?? I know its early in the year but was just wondering. Been raining off and on here for a couple of weeks, haven't had more than 2 days in a row to be able to get out and do anything Weather report says same for next 2 weeks. This isn't the sunny california that I am used to......
There are two Yellow Jackets at a dealer not far from me. Maybe when I am off, I will take a ride over there and snap some pictures of my car and the new one side by side.
Hope somebody knows.......... thought i saw in other thread ( cant find again ) that 392's were hand built and break in period is 7,500 miles, not 500 miles other people say. Want to use ( abuse ) 1st and 2nd gear once or twice, but don't want to take chance if motor is not broke in. Any feed back will be nice. Thanks.
Have new owners of Yellow Jacket Challengers registred there car on the Dodge Challenger Registry ????? Only 8 registred and I know there's more than that out there.
I used Meguiars qwik detailer to keep them clean in between washes and Meguiars Ultimate liquid was for protection. If your stripes are flat (not glossy) do not use anything on them except washing the car as they will streak.
