Would i be penalized if i tell the dealer i changed my mind , i wanted the srt b5 challenger but now i like the Billet silver shaker red seats interior.......I already put a good deposit down. How should i handle it????
Before you do anything, I'd consider the following.
Unless what's motivating you is the desire for billet silver over B5 blue, you might be better off going with the SRT.
Think about this. If you get the Scat Pack Shaker, it will either be prohibitively expensive or impossible to retrofit the adaptive suspension components or the bigger brakes or any of the other SRT-only components later on.
On the other hand, you could easily turn your SRT into a shaker, with easily available parts, and probably in your own garage with basic tools. I would think all that you need would be the Mopar intake, the Shaker hood, the Shaker box itself, the emblems, and the striping. To me, that's all cosmetic improvements.
Keep the SRT. Trust me, you won't regret it.
The adaptive suspension is well worth it, plus those big Red Brembos stick out like a pair of giant boobs.
They're discontinuing B5 Blue, so right off the bat you're special.
My Phantom Black makes me even happier now that I know they've discontinued it.
Your car is going to be more stunning then your imagination is telling you.
The B5 blue (which I would have bought if I could have found one) and those boobs, er I mean Brembo's is going to be incredible.
