Pulled trigger on a Magnusson SC, Need advice!

Hey guys, been off the forum for a bit, but I'm back as I'd appreciate general advice on my next project.
I've ordered the Magnusson SC from Arrington Performance and hopefully should have the kit in the next week or two.

I'm going to have it installed at Petty's Garage in Randleman NC. They've already done my CAI, borla catback exhaust, Pedder's coilovers, and lots of cosmetic work. They've done an excellent job on all installs and I'm looking forward to working with them on this project.

Initial dyno on the stock motor showed 404rwhp, after CAI and catback exhaust we were at 434rwhp. I'm guessing we'll end up close to 7lbs of boost, so I think we'll end up around 570rwhp. Is this what others have ended up with after conservative tune?

What else do I need to consider when installing the supercharger? Appreciate any and all advice ahead of time!

If your an automatic, you will probably need to be careful with the transmission.

I've got the 6 speed, been told the clutch should readily be able to handle predicted power levels.

550-560RWHP is what you'll probably be getting. YOur good to go if you have an auto, but heard the 6 speeds need some beefing

Vice versa, it's the autos that need the beefing due to trans going into limp mode with the added rwhp.

Hey roomraider, was just reading your signature, seems you have the Magnusson on yours! Did you install the commetic replacement head gasket when you had the SC installed? I've heard that 8lbs is about the max you want to go, have you had any issues with yours? Did you purchase the $200 warranty from Magnusson?

Nobody has released a SC tune for the Maggie on a stock ECU since Diablo can't tune for boosted applications. How is Petty going to do this or are they doing a harness swap?

Congrats on getting boosted!
