WOW, those are excellent numbers. Congrats!!!! I would have been more than happy with 600 to the wheels, you've blown my mind on that one.
Excellent work

I talked to two tuners who have tuned on these and they said based on using the 2004 standard for SAE on this dyno that it runs middle of the road. Both agreed that have if we had boost plotted that we could verify results to a greater detail. So next run we are getting boost and fuel pressure since we went flat at 6K or I'll just set my redline to 6K and call it good.

But the truth is you can't please everybody with dyno results because if I had taken it their before then I would be up against the crowd that wants the same temp and humidity! After that you would need the same dyno operator and the list goes on......

I guess I should go back to the old school method, I beat a car that the driver said had 600HP so I must have 700HP because I beat him by two lengths!

Well, I for one am extremely happy that you are making some serious power, especially with stock internals. However, it does seem high, but if you tuner has found the "key" to getting the most out of the 392, it is a win for everyone. So basically, keep on keeping on.

Vortech. Got mu boost gauge today and next will be a fuel pressure gauge so we can quit guessing on some of this stuff. Next dyno run will plot boost and fuel pressure. Dave Kasper is currently reviewing the tune and I'm verifying the correct operation of the booster pump. Don't really want to hit a lean spot at 6K again. More to come before we call it done!

I would say close to solid. Vortech wasn't real happy with the big numbers so we are going to have to detune for their over the counter tune.

This boost thing is to fun. I smell a 426 short block in the future. i guess I will have a IE 426! Didn't really want to do this to a limited build car, but in the end its just a car and I might as well have it the way I want it!

Do it to a 6.1 block and keep the 392 on the side so you have a stock motor to swap so you can keep your resale value.

That IE is going to hold value on looks alone I bet. Though someday numbers matching could matter I guess. How limited is the IE?
