My dealer put an Edelbrock on a 6.4 with PCM swap..Has dyno sheet showing 700.5hp on the windshield in the show room.... he said all brackets needed to be custom. The pulley offsets are different for 6.4 than 6.1. Alternator is different(clutch type). Just some food for thought.

Is that Parkway Chrysler your referring to? Just curious as that is my local dealer as well.

Good point about the brackets!! i didn't think about that! We will have to wait till Edelbrock does the kit.. but this will be THE WAY TO GO! It's OEM level parts.

So I take it the KB SC is supposedly a tougher install? I just got of the phone with edelbrock and they said the kit is in the works.

Yes correct, but the dynamics were different and mostly done by Dyno Steve using a SMS supercharger.

The entire kit (complete) will be around 7K, It can be installed at home with common tools, install time is approx 10 hours. You could pay an Edelbrock Certified Installer to do the work and then you would be eligible to purchase an Edelbrock Drivetrain Warranty that can cover up to 20K dollars in parts for 5 years or 100K miles.

This is an "OEM" level kit, everything is made and assembled in the USA, the screws come direct from Eaton and use the 160 degree twist TVS rotors.

The unit does not tap into engine oil, it has it's own oil system and is good for 100K before service. This is also an intercooled setup.

I would say so because the car has hookup problems now. The frame and rear end can handle 1000 horsepower as is from what I'm told, so some good rubber is all you need.
