2009-2010 B5 Production Numbers.

After waiting a while and corresponding back and forth with Chrysler Customer
Assistance this is the email I recieved today.
Dear Richard:

Thank you for contacting the Dodge Customer Assistance Center.

Our system shows there was 368 Surf blue SRT8 Challengers built in 2009
and 770 in 2010.

So here are the most accepted numbers for the Spring Special Colors:

400 Furious Fuschia
592 Detonator Yellow (about 1,100 produced 45% were SRTs)
939 Plum Crazy
1138 B5 Blue

I think total production of the colors would keep the order of rarity the same when you factor in R/Ts too.

I love my B5!!! But I may have to sell it cause I got orders and I can only take 2 vehicles (pratical)...oh well, someday I'll get another!!!!

Surf Blue? SRT? Maybe a total for both but one model.......customer service guy needs a brochure to check the real color and some schooling on models.

Surf Blue is the real color, B5 was added as its heritage name.

Surf Blue Metallic is the current color name and B5 was the original paint code for the 70s color. I am not sure if B5 is the current code I haven't purchased touch up paint but it was on the original 70s color.

The paint code for our "Surf Blue Pearl" is FQD (sales code: PQD). The original B5 blue was actually called "True Blue" or "Electric Blue" back in the day and had paint code PB5.

These days, I think you'd get better responses from the Gen Z (tweener) crowd by calling it "Dinoco Blue" (from the movie "Cars").

How many total B5 was made for 2009 and 2010 of srt8 and RT and the break down for 2009 and 2010 auto and 6spd would like to know.Hope somebody can help if so can you send me a message Thanks hemib5blue
