SLP supercharger.

I recently purchased a supercharger from SLP. There supercharger according to them is a mangacharger with some upgrades. I was curios if anyone else has purchased one from SLP? I was told by there representative that I should expect to see 522 hp from the stock 379 with no other mods other than the supercharger. Even though I have Borla headers and atak exhaust. Would anyone be able to tell me the max psi the 5.7 can handle? And if anyone has any helpful information I would be very appreciative. It is being installed in November.

I may be wrong and please correct me if I am, but you will only see about 6 pounds of boost from the setup. The SLP comes with its own tune in the form of a Diablosport Preditor.

I understand also that with longtubes you may actually see less boost due to the reduced backpressure.

Unless you upgrade to a forged set up I would not go over 8 psi of boost. The pistons in these motors are very suseptable to breaking the top ringlands. I believe that the SRTs get 8 psi of boost.

Thanks for the input guys. I spoke with the SLP rep and we cleared up the boost issue. Its 7LBS of boost. as far as the headers go I am getting it custom tuned and I was assured that I won't loose boost. I called and specificly asked about that.

I just picked my 2010 Challenger R/T up from the SLP plant in Tom's River NJ. I could not be happier with the results! The supercharger is excellent!! The car now has 559 hp (at the flywheel) about 450 at the rear wheels and makes 559 lb ft of torque! Thank to all the members who gave me advice nd helped me out! Here is a pic!
