I'm looking to enhance the overall sound of my SRT8, but I'd prefer to no spend 1500 on a full cat-back system. What kind of results could I get out of just a muffler swap (if this is even possible), and how would I go about choosing a good muffler? I've never really messed with exhaust systems before, so I'm really starting from ground zero as to how to make a selection...
There are several post in here on just that modification. Late Model Restoration is a sponsor on this site at the bottom and have a muffler just for this. Check their post's out.
cool...thanks for the info I guess one thing I was hoping for was a discussion as to what might sound the best, etc? I've tried looking around for comparative reviews of exhaust note, etc., from the various options out there, but haven't found much comparison wise...just individual systems.
