Why don't you just use the stock shifter handle with the Hurst shifter? IMO it looks and feels better than any of the after market handles.

While the stock unit is nice its just too low for my tastes. I like actively driving my car and having my elbow resting on that armrest when I'm driving just feels too luxury car like. I also like the idea beacuse I drive actively that the older unit looks more like its all about using more of your arm instead of your wrist. Lastly the diameter of the stock unit I really ,really don't like it's like holding a piece of pvc tubing in my hand. Those are my reasons why I want to do the change up.

Definitely want to replace the shifter, but still on the fence about handle styles...they're looking killer, though.

Great thread! Anyone else do anything different with theirs? I was thinking about grabbing some sticks and either black chroming them or powder coating them to offer yet another option.
