Anyone try Arrington's Engine Builder's Kit?
Anyone here try their engine builder's kit for $2k?
What are the tuning requirments if you're doing it as an "upgrade from 5.7L" as they state?
After talking to Tim at DCX, that's what's holding me up the most with any type of build (heads/cams, shortblock, F/I). I don't want to have to ship my car halfway across the country to a tuner just to get it running. I'd rather have a solution where a safe, conservative, build specific tune were provided and I do all the rest of the work. If later on down the road I want to have that base tune tweaked for more power, I can do so. Seems like us '10 R/T 6spd guys might see some F/I solutions soon, but I'd rather stick to N/A if possible.
