Don't go to your dealership if you have a custom tune or a Diablo tune!! Must read..

Perform RRT 09-073 Flash:driveabilty improvements(my ass)

Perform RRT 09-043 Flash:PEM module(what in the hell is that, PCM?)

I absolutley love the headers, how I've lived without them is beyond me. but the shift points are completly different. It's as if the car falls on it's face between gears. Never did I ask for any of their "improvements". Is this common? Why would they waste their time to do it? The funny thing is that I didn't buy my car their and the service manager has given me tips while at the track I race at. So much for my custom tune, it won't load. My cal code is 68004302ad and isn't supported. It asks if I want to downgrade to "AC" in order to continue. Should I select agree? What does this sh!t mean? All I want is to have it the way it was before the ****ed with it. Any advice is appreciated.

Never did I think this would happen to me.

Was the custom tune in the car when you took it into the dealer? If it was you are going to have to send the preditor back to diablo to get it unlocked. It will not work with ANY car as it is locked to the car that it last tuned until you replace the stock tune back into the car. The dealer will not beable to help you either. Diablo charges $75 to unlock the tuner, I suggest you call them and tell them exactly what happened and they will tell you what your going to have to do. Post abck what you end up doing sorry to tell you this!

That will not help if the car had been tuned with the Preditor and then flashed at the dealer. The Tune in the car and the one saved when the car was tuned with the preditor will not match, therefore the preditor will "think" it is a different car. This is how Diablo locks the tuner so it can only be used on one car at a time.

This exact thing happened to me @ the dealership, I had to take it back to Stack Performance and had them help me out. It is a process.

Alway remember to reload your stock tune before taking the car to a dealer. I lost count of how many times this has been said.

Ben, is this the one from the Mopar Nats? if so you need to shoot Steve a email and he should be able to send it back down to you. Why didn't you take it off and put the stock tune back on That just sucks hey maybe you can take a road trip up north and have it dyno'd also. I'll have mine out there on Thursday.

I've had a Diablo car for the past 4 years without incident from the dealership. It's not like I went in for diagnostic work. My plans were to have it retuned anyways since the headers probably leaned it out some.
