Yes, he bought his kit through us, and was aware the Vortech tune wasn't ready yet...we got with Johan and he gave him as starter tune...when the kit is installed he will do some datalogs since he isn't local Johan will tweak the tune via email. We will also be doing a Vortech 6 Speed 5.7 install here very soon that Johan will be dyno tuning.

Although HORT didn't buy his Vortech through you, why can't you guys offer him the same thing with the tune? I'm sure he can datalog also just fine. I'm just asking......

The SC's installed. I believe it was delivered to a local tuner to get it running proper.

I beleive HORT has been in contact with Johan directly, so not sure why or why not he wouldn't have doen so, I think mainly because his car was at shops with dyno's that 'should' be able to tune better than via email, mqaybe Johan didin't want to step on any toes

The starter tune that Richard worked with was provided by Johan. My car started fine with this tune but but the AF rose with the RPM's. For a half a day we couldn't get the car above 4000 RPM's due to the AF rising to almost 14. No matter how much fuel Richard threw at it, it wouldn't come down at all. I mean not at all. He put the boost a pump on it and we were only able to get it to 4400 RPM before the AF reached 14. After all day on the dyno Richard rescaled the nozzles to make them spray longer. While that brought the AF down to 12.5 at WOT. It is so low at idle it's blowing black smoke and surging.

Johan keeps telling me the idle issues are because the nozzles are scaled wrong. But I knew that already as it was the only way we could get the AF to come down below 13.

Bearair is the member that bought the Vortech from you. He has already installed it. He flatbedded it to his tuner today.

I have asked all the tuners that I've gone to send data logs to Johan but none will. That is what has been pissing me off the most. These guys refuse to accept any help. They would rather not get it right and fail than to ask for help. I hope Brian will recruit Johan's help if needed.

in the nicest way possible, put the car back to stock, sell it for a premium, and purchase a slightly used SRT8. you're into this thing for what $8,000 bucks? kevin

Don't want an SRT8. If I wanted one, I would have bought one.

Who the hell Are You. First You tell HORT to Get rid of His SC, then you tell Him to sell His car and buy an SRT8. None of this has anything to do with His problem. GO AWAY. Sorry for the hyjack HORT.
