JBA shortie headers

I finally got the headers installed last wed but rained every day after so havent driven it much. I took it out this morning for drive and just seat of the pants it feels much more responsive than before. Its also more quiet than i thought it would be but thats not really a bad thing. I did notice when I was coming down the hill this morning, when i let off the gas the exhaust doesnt pop and kind of back fire like it did before the headers. Its now a smooth magnaflow sound and very nice growl to it. I also had the 6.1 L gaskets and the stage 8 locking header bolts Installed as well. All in all a nice mod. Im going to do the hurst shifter next, Kirbs

Sounds like a worthwhile mod, congrats.
Did you do the install yourself or did you have a shop install them?
thanks.

Thanks for posting. Did you get the bolts at Summit? Also, how well do the header ports match up to the gasket ports?

What did you pay for them and where from? I'm ready to buy.
