Went With Zoomers
Alright guys I went with Zoomers, and I’m very happy with it. I ran on it about 2,500 miles (around 4,000 kilometers) and I can say it's awesome and makes the car a lot more enjoyable to drive especially on the high way at 70 - 120 mile.
Here is more short observation:
Q1: Is it loud?
It is louder than many cat-back (like Magnaflow Street, Corsa, Mopar & Borla) I guess, and I think it's loud enough for many people, but not that loud as many owners would say. In fact you may want more at times. I often open the windows to hear it more. It won’t annoy other driver with it’s sounds even if there Windows are open, but they will definitely hear the sound.
* As a cat-back it is not louder than Corsa or Mopar when they're associated with Headers.
Q2:Is there drone?
Yes, there is, and it's obvious when the exhaust is cold, and it disappears or becomes hardly noticable when the exhaust is wormed up. In the morning, warming up these days (summer 30-45 Celsius) takes about 15 - 30min of driving.
Q3: At what speed or RPM does it drone?
Here is the good thing. It doesn't drone at a specific speed or certain RPM range, it drones with mild acceleration, and some time when you let of the gas. So if you accelerate very slowly its possible to eliminate the drone to some extent.
Q4: Is it annoying?
the exhaust sound is not annoying at all I could bear a lot more, but the drone especially in the morning could be a little annoying. Not that annoying for me. And since it gives the musical exhaust tone that I want, I'd tolerate a little drone in the morning.
Q5: Will the drone disappear completely after the break in period?
It will be reduced but won’t go away completely. I mean I drove 2,500 on my exhaust and it still drones until it’s wormed up. Accept some drone & enjoy it, it's not a big deal, but don't fool your self & think it %100 drone free.
Q6: Does it fit well?
I can't compare to any other system since this is my first, but I don't think so. the pipe before the resonator at driver side would hang noticeably lower than the pipe on the passenger side. When you drive on the system for a while the tips would stick out a bit, and passenger side tip would go to the right rather than staying at the middle.
Q7: Would you buy it again?
I defiantly would. Despite everything said it makes your driving experience a lot more enjoyable. It sounds wonderful from the inside & the outside. But, I would try to compare it to MBRP since it sounds as good from the out side (on youtube) and is a lot cheaper. I'd probably consider MagnaFlow Pro as well.
Q8: What do you like about it the most?
The amazing thing is that you can hear it rumbling all the time and at any speed, even at idle.
I got some clips for you, I hope you enjoy them.
