Mopar Drag Pak Intake Manifold

I was on the Jeep SRT8 site this morning and under the performance section is a picture of a new intake manifold (Southern Hotrod). Wow, serious piece of equipment!

Re: Mopar Drag Pak Intake Manifold

Cool, that's the same intake manifold used on the 392 crate motor with an edelbrock sourced elbow adapter on it.

The manifold itself has been available for a while. Very cool!!!

The crate motor comes fuel injected or carbed... This is the same as the injected manifold with an elbow adapter added. It is not the same as the carbed one because the bosses aren't drilled for the injectors. This manifold in on the snake skin green Targa racer, without the elbow adapter. Targa used a 4 bbl throttle body and the crate motor electronics mated to the body harness.

Mopar had something similar to this for the Dakota r/t's back in the day. It was an elbow adapter on the crate motor m1 carbed manifold with the bosses drilled for the injectors. Just like this new one, the adapter was a 90 degree elbow that mounted the stock style throttle body to the standard 4 bolt carb flange on the single plane manifold.

Sweet setup regardless, need a T/A scoop to clear it.

Re: Mopar Drag Pak Intake Manifold

What I read this is a 1st proto type new test unit.
Part #P4510813AB. High rise single plane, large plenum race manifold. Same manifold that comes on the 392 crate motor I do believe. $747 from Monicatti Chrysler.

"P5155173 is the part number. This is not the 392 intake. This is the Drag Pak intake. I think we got the first one!
